1. Overview
Today’s mobile terminals are increasingly becoming an integrated multimedia device with video,
audio, music and mobile TV capabilities. IF303 is designed to offer rich multimedia experience
with the complete CMMB Mobile TV solution for China market. It integrates a powerful H.264
video decoder with the award-winning CMMB demodulator, offering the industry leading CMMB
performance and stability.
IF303 has a 32-bits ARM926EJS processor as the core. The hardware video and audio decoders
provide superior performance and low power consumption. Innofidei’s proven CMMB
demodulator implemented many innovative algorithm and proprietary RF design techniques to
ensure good viewing quality under any condition.

IF303 provides rich peripheral interfaces including external memory interface, display engine,
SD/MMC, UART, I2C, SPI and I2S for audio output. It also integrates on-chip PLL, embedded
JTAG and power management unit. In a cell phone system, IF303 is used as a multimedia
co-processor with CMMB mobile TV capability to the baseband. It can also be used standalone as
a multimedia processor in devices such as personal portable TV, personal media player.
