CSR’s breakthrough single-chip BlueCore BC7820 addresses the increasing need for diverse and sophisticated wireless
feature sets. Combining Bluetooth and FM Rx/Tx, BC7820 offers a highly-integrated embedded wireless solution. The tiny,
power-efficient ROM chip strips away a host of time-consuming tasks for OEMs in managing integration and coexistence,
while demonstrating superb performance. BlueCore BC7820 soundly demonstrates CSR’s leadership in embedded wireless
technology.
KEY FEATURES
l Bluetooth v2.1 + EDR radio delivering +10dBm output and -93dBm sensitivity
l AuriStream voice CODEC providing fixed line call quality to a Bluetooth headset or reduced power consumption
l An FM radio receive with speaker drivers for direct headphone connection and short-range transmitter with audio
streaming of MP3 and RDS support for track names.
l BC7820 can be used as part of a fully compliant Bluetooth v3.0+HS system
